Let’s Talk Sandals.

First post… ooouuu… I got chills for days.
Anyway… Welcome to my humble aboard reader. You’ll probably be seeing a lot of ellipses so be warned. I hope you enjoy. Be sure to leave your comments and views and suggestions on what you want to be featured in the next reads.
Today being a Thursday I want to talk about shoes and when I say shoes I mainly want to talk about ladies shoes.
Ladies have a variety of shoes to buy and wear. I mean if you are one you must understand me when I say we can never have enough shoes, we just can’t. It’s like a curse. We always feel the need to own more pairs day in day out.
Anyway, enough about our urges and what not, let’s talk SANDALS!
Sandals are a must have in one’s wardrobe. I mean they can be an everyday type of wear kind of shoe. I would rock them come rain come sun… Well okay I may be bluffing when I say that. I avoid them at all costs when it is raining. Don’t get me wrong though if you own a colourful pair of sandals like these;

You could rock them with several outfits. They are vibrant and colourful and would definitely light up a dull outfit. These are the kind of sandals one wears to a cocktail party or a chilled event on a Sunday afternoon.

Sandals can be worn with a crop top and a maxi skirt for those not so formal events or just a chilled hangout with friends. I mean it’s never that serious plus if you have the kind of friends that I have who make random plans and y’all end up walking for unplanned miles then heels are just not in the equation unless of course for special events like dinner parties where you assured of being driven to and fro the said destination.
Sandals also tend to go very well with dungarees. Be it shorts or trousers. Sandals are a thumbs up. I mean you don’t have to be in boots or old schools or basically closed shoes all the time. Let your feet breathe. Give them freedom. Let them live… Oh sorry, was getting a tad bit carried away hehe.
Anyway if you are going to a festival on a hot sunny day you just need your shorts, sling bag to throw in all the things you may or may not need (you know how it is…. Our bags sometimes carrying unnecessary items which we convince ourselves that we need them.), a hat and to top it all up… the icing on the cake… drum rolls please… SANDALS! And the crowd goes wild woohoo… hehe… Don’t mind me I can be a bit melodramatic. At least it beats deadbeat boring anytime any day.*sigh of contentment*
Also if you are going for a wedding reception or a luncheon and decide on wearing a romper or a pair of jeans, matching them with a nice handbag and sandals gives the look a simple yet classy touch.

Sandals can also be worn with a dress shirt. Gladiator sandals especially go swell with dress shirt; particularly if the dress shirt is simple and played down.

I could go on and on but for now I will let pictures speak for me… Till the next segment… Adios muchachos.

Oh before I forget, if you are having a beach wedding or attending one, no need to struggle or put yourself through so much stress walking in the sand in heels. Just get yourself a pair of sandals. They are even easier to slip of so as to feel the course beach sand under your feet. Okay now I am done.
